Balanced Scorecard Professional Certification
The Balanced Scorecard Institute’s programme is based on a student successfully learning how to build and implement a scorecard system, and applying the learning in a practical way. Successfully passing a final exam completes the certification process. There are 2-levels of certifi cation: the basic certification level is Balanced Scorecard Professional (BSP) and the advanced level is Balanced Scorecard Master Professional (BSMP). This programme, offered in association with the George Washington University College of Professional Studies, is a comprehensive programme on leading a balanced scorecard planning and management system implementation.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for people in private, public or nonprofi t-sector organisations who have responsibility for building, implementing and maintaining scorecard and other performance management systems. Typical attendees include those with responsibilities for implementing and/or maintaining the management system; developing appropriate performance measures; selecting software tools; cascading the scorecard to lower tiers in the organisation; evaluating or reporting strategic and operational performance data; and/or improving resource allocation decision making. We recommend the introductory course (301): Building and Implementing Balanced Scorecards (or equivalent experience with the BSC methodology), prior to taking this course.

Instructors

The course will be taught by the Principals and Associates of the Balanced Scorecard Institute. These instructors have specialised expertise in balanced scorecard training, facilitation and consulting in public and private-sector organisations.
